Epicurean Pizza Peel

I have a love affair with Pizza and every now and then I crave for it like I haven't eaten in 20 years. Pizza places here close around 9pm and if I crave for it at midnight then I'll end up having nightmares about it haha! So I figured, why not learn how to make my own pizza? You don't have any idea how excited I was when I took out my first homemade pizza from the oven. I couldn't believe I made it!

One of the the most important things you need to make homemade pizza is a pizza peel. Some say that you don't need a peel but I'm all about making the process easier. I like the Epicurean Pizza Peel. Yeah, it's a little bit more expensive than standard, aluminum pizza peels but it's so worth it! The best part is that it requires no maintenance. Definitely no oiling or bleaching. Try it, I promise you're gonna like it!

Yum!

Canon PowerShot SX260 Digital Camera

I've always wanted a camera but I'm not ready for a DSLR for two reasons 1.) I don't have the $$$ to buy it and 2.) I don't need it. So I found the next best thing and that is the Canon PowerShot SX260 Digital Camera. I like it because it's not ridiculously expensive plus it takes damn good pictures. 20x Optical Zoom, 25MM wide angle lens, Digic 5 image processor, 1080 full HD video and Smart AUTO with 58 pre-defined shooting situations... I mean, c'mon! It doesn't get any better than that!

This is great for both professional and amateur photographers. If you own a DSLR, you still need this camera. Why? You can't bring your big-ass camera all the time, right? You can't go to the coffee house, meet up with your friends and bring a Godzilla-like camera! You need something compact like the Canon PowerShot SX260.

Look at these amazing pictures!!! Me likey!

Nursery Furniture Sets

Instead of buying furniture piece by piece, you can save a little money by opting for nursery furniture sets. Most sets that I've seen already include a crib, dresser and changing table but if you really want a cohesive look for a nursery I would recommend considering a 5-piece nursery furniture set. Everything doesn't have to match but at least make the room look put together. Don't pair an espresso crib with a white dresser!

You can find nursery furniture sets that cost less than $500 and I think that's a good steal. Make sure you read the reviews and inspect each piece, it should be well-made and sturdy. Remember, your child's safety should be your number one priority.

See what I mean when I say cohesive?

Neutral Crib Bedding Sets

I think a neutral crib bedding is perfect if you 1.) Don't wanna know the gender of the baby until delivery 2.) You're having a boy and girl twins 3.) You are planning to have more children and you want to save money by using the same stuff that your first born used. I like gender-neutral crib bedding sets because they're fun and it's so easy to mix and match.

I wouldn't recommend dark colors on a baby's room. I know there are some who wants the nursery to look modern but there are so many ways on how to achieve that without painting the walls red! Eeewww! You can use darker colors as accents instead. Also, I read somewhere that using bright yellow on the walls will make a baby cry more. Yellow encourages communication and babies use crying to communicate so... I don't know whether that's true or not but I don't wanna risk it! Stick to lighter shade of yellow like butter yellow.

Here are a couple of gender-neutral nurseries that I found on Pinterest. Enjoy!

Crib Bedding for Girls

There are so many options when it comes to crib bedding for girls and I know how exciting it is to decorate a nursery. It's one of your proudest moments, isn't it? Imagine putting together a beautiful nursery for your precious little one. Ahhhhh I can only dream :)

Go for two-tone crib bedding sets so that your baby's nursery won't look boring. Pink and green or pink and brown make a lovely nursery. If you want a unique room, go for contemporary designs. Anyway, take a look at these super adorable baby girl nurseries that I found on Pinterest. I hope you get inspired!
